In the medical world, the urine of a person is like the mirror to his or her health status. There are diseases or ailments that can be detected by analyzing a urine sample. Diseases like hepatitis, UTI, cancers and infections can be established in laboratory tests. Today there are test kits that could be done at home. Instead of going to the hospital for lab testing you could now collect and analyze your urine. These results could be sent to your physician without the hassle of going to the clinic. This way you can verify the accuracy of the tester.

For detecting infections in the system, the tester usually check out for white cells present called leukocytes. These cells are the sign that you have an infection in the body. Pregnancy can also be detected using this home urinary tester although it is not specifically made to do this job. The tester can actually detect hormones in blood. However too much leukocytes can mean that you have urinary tract infection and further testing is advised. Test kits usually have informational kits that will give advices and guidelines that you could follow for recovery. You should need to give this result to your doctor so that he or she can provide proper treatment.
