Taking a business break
If you own a business, most of the time you are managing it. As an owner you might want to take a break and help yourself replenish the energy you’ve exerted in your work. It is not bad to take a break once in a while because this will help you regain your strength and avoid getting sick.
There are number of ways of taking a break from work. I’ll enumerate some of them.
1. Go to the park with family – Nothing beats the experience of bonding with your family. It’s healthy for the body, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually.
2. Watch movies in the mall with your loved ones – Treat yourself and your kids. Watch the latest animated movies like Toy Story 3, Shrek 4, Ice age 3 and many other that your kids and you will enjoy.
3. Travel locally or internationally – visit tourist destinations. It doesn’t necessarily means that you have to spend a lot of money. You can travel locally to lessen the travel expenses.
4. Treat yourself to a Health spa – This is the closest to heaven experience. I really enjoy this especially after finishing a series of project for the company.
5. Night out – I know that if you go to a club or bar it’s unhealthy for your lungs and liver because of the smoke of cigarettes, and intake of alcohol . But taking alcohol moderately and staying just a couple of hours will surely helps. Have a social life. Ask your friends to accompany you, and enjoy each others company. I suggest you go out every 3-6 months.
6. Involve into sports – Do whatever sports you’re into. If you love basketball, ask your friends to play. But I suggest try other sports that you haven’t played yet. There’s always room for learning whatever your age is.
In general my advice is go out to your house, and breathe some fresh air. Because as a businessman, it’s either you’re in the house or office. Changing of scenery will surely vitalize every molecule in your blood, and stay healthy.
